With Dr. Eberhard Rees (1973)

Dr. Von Braun was succeeded as Director of the Marshall Center in 1970 by his associate Dr. Eberhard Rees, center. Rees retired on January 26, 1973 and was succeeded by Dr. Rocco Petrone, left, who had previously served as Director of the Office of Manned Space Flight at NASA Headquarters.
