With His Family (1970)

Dr. Von Braun and his family relocated from Huntsville to Washington in 1970 after he was assigned duties as NASA's Deputy Associate Administrator for Planning at NASA Headquarters. Prior to their departure, Huntsville hosted a series of special events in honor of the Von Brauns. The family is shown here on the steps of the Madison County Courthouse.
