At Headquarters Building Ground-Breaking (1961)

This photo was taken September 30, 1961, at the ground-breaking ceremony for a new headquarters building at the Marshall Space Flight Center. Joining Dr. Von Braun, left, in the ceremony, was Senator Robert Kerr, then chairman of the Senate Committee on Aeronautics and Space Sciences.
